I ran into a copy of this book recently and fell in love. This is an AWESOME sock collection, but equally important is the beautiful vignettes that accompany each pattern explaining their inspiration. There are a number of socks in here I want to make. I don't think I've ever picked up a sock book before and found so many wonderful patterns for socks I'd really like to have/make/own - and I own a bunch of sock pattern books! This one is definitely a winner.
